Dark Horse Review

Dark Horse

My review
I enjoyed this movie because of the intense moments and the curse words :)
My favourite scene/s were when they won the chess games
My favourite character: Token

One of the rememberable moments was when Token came back to Genesis and decided to learn chess and join the chess club because it showed that he genuinely wanted to thrive and take opportunities while he can.

Year 10 Persuasive Writing 2018 Jackson Barnes

Firstly, I believe that it is very important to maintain old buildings because they have historical and cultural significance and economic value.
What is historic, and worth saving, varies with the beholder, but some definition is urgent. Simply put, “historic” means “old and worth the trouble.” It applies to a building that’s part of a community’s tangible past. And to a degree that may surprise cynics, old buildings can offer opportunities for a community’s future.

This article examines both the cultural and practical values of old buildings and looks at why preserving them is beneficial not only for a community’s culture but also for its local economy. Local people also want those buildings to be in the same area and remain in the same area as it is in today. Eventually, there will be a time where buildings will need to be knocked down but should have value to the public.

The Growing NZ Innervation Challenge

Title

My experience with The Growing NZ Innervation Challenge

Introduction

Over the last five weeks of the term,  the way I've experienced this challenge has been a unique way to learn about a different issue that happens in a lot of the world. The topic my group and I have researched is water scarcity, with smart things and smart machines as our two enablers. Water defines the lack of sufficient available water resources to meet the demands of water usage around within the region. It's the topic chosen for the reason being it would be an important issue that would be a good example for research.

Reflection

I feel that we presented with my simple show successfully and in a way where it made it interesting. Although I think having a whole team would make life a lot easier it is still well presented. We found a lot of decent research to put it all together.
